What is Network information gathering

Network information gathering tool means gathering different kind of information about the target. 

It is basically, the first step or the start up stage of moral Hacking, where the penetration tempters or hackers (both black hat or white hat) tries to gather all the information about the target, in order to use it for Hacking. 

 

To obtain more relevant results, we have to gather more information about the target to increase the probability of a successful attack.
